Daytona USA 2019 Texture Pack by stf999
Downloaded Version : Nuexzz's Daytona USA++ / "Scripts" Folder replacement

====================================================
(ENGLISH)

Replace the original "Scripts" Folder by the one provided in the download.
This is a clean folder including the texture pack + LUA scripts created by the Daytona USA++ patch (latest version)
+ ElSemi's original necessary files.

As Nuexzz has already configurated the NVDATA files, it's ready to go (LINK ID set to SINGLE, CABINET set to DELUXE).

----------------------------------------

The highest resolutions (ex: 1920x1080) will give the best result onscreen (lowest resolutions bring aliasing on a HD screen)...
If your graphic card allows FXAA antialiasing + anisotropic 16X filtering the rendering will be even better...
I personnally get a very smooth game using a custom resolution allowed by my NVidia Card : 1920x1080 @ 58Hz.
Also make sure that "ForceSync=1" in the EMULATOR.INI file !

----------------------------------------

About the textures :
- Grass, trees, plants, walls, stones, mountains, houses : the original pictures have been found on the internet.
They all have been edited, modified, colorized, shadowed, adapted to Daytona USA and can't be found anywhere else in their actual form.
- Hornet, adverts, road, borders, rails, signs, dashboard, checkpoint & Start flags and more :
These textures have been (re)created 100% from scratch by me.
- Beginner course Pit :
I have recreated the pit textures using screenshots from Daytona championship USA 2017 and personnal work.

None of the textures can be sold or purchased. It's free for everybody !

Before I started my pack I was using Nuexzz's texture pack.
I also discovered in 2018 that Axel Dragani had started his own pack but unfortunately never released it.
Studying Nuexzz's PAT files made me learn how to start my own pack. Many thanks go to Nuexzz for that !

Method :
I redumped all the textures from the original Daytona USA and used them as removable background layers in Photoshop
for proportions inside my textures, to make sure that nothing would be too big, too small, too deformed, etc...

When a texture was difficult to identify, I painted it in green, placed it in my scripts folder, launched the game and looked for this green texture ingame.
That's how I could give a name and a localization (BEG, ADV, EXP, COMMON, CAR,...) to each texture before starting to work on it.

--------------------

Playing Daytona USA (Saturn adds) : a few textures from my older pack will be used.
ex: Sonic running on the animated board (Beginner circuit),
The arcade posters before the boat instead of the "Fisherman's Club" posters (Expert circuit),
	  and a few more textures...

Playing Daytona USA (Special Edition) : The "Since 1992 Hornet Hight Class" logo will be colorized a bit differently to better match
	the original arcade flyer.

----------------------------------------

Have a nice game
